I have spent my entire career in data science and quantitative analytics, with a heavy focus on retail. My experience spans retail banking, CPG, and an eight year journey with the world’s largest retailer. Across these environments, the constant focus has been the customer—how people shop, how they engage, and how organizations build stronger, more durable relationships with them.
Wherever I’ve worked, that focus has translated into building analytical systems that inform how customer experiences are designed, measured, and improved. The work typically starts at the market level—understanding location strategy and network design—and then moves inward to the operational and experiential touchpoints that ultimately shape customer satisfaction or, in some cases, friction.
Over the past two decades, the growth of ecommerce has fundamentally changed how these systems are built and used. Physical stores, websites, and mobile applications now must operate as a single, interconnected experience. Retailers must deliver convenience and consistency across physical and digital channels, without seams, while responding to increasingly complex and dynamic customer behavior.
Today, advances in AI have begun to mainstream how analytical products and decision systems are developed. Machine learning, generative AI, and agent-based approaches are no longer experimental—they are becoming standard components of modern analytics stacks. In practice, this means faster insight generation, richer scenario testing, and more adaptive systems that can learn from data as conditions change.
My work blends data science, AI-enabled simulation, and digital twins to turn complex market dynamics into decisions that can be tested, measured, and improved. The goal is not AI for its own sake, but decision systems that help teams understand tradeoffs, evaluate outcomes, and act with greater confidence.
What I am currently focused on
- Location intelligence for retail site selection and network strategy
- Customer experience measurement and outcome-driven analytics
- Market simulation and digital twins to test “what-if” decisions
